I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that means playing, going for walks, giving them attention, or simply keeping them company.

Although I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I’ve spent lots of time around the cats and dogs of friends and family, and I always look forward to seeing them whenever I get the chance. Growing up in Türkiye also meant being surrounded by animals, especially stray cats and dogs. I’ve always loved interacting with them and often stop to pet them or give them some food whenever I can.

A typical day with your pet would depend entirely on their usual routine and needs. I’d be happy to play with them, feed them according to your instructions, give them plenty of attention and company, take dogs for walks, and of course make sure they have everything they need throughout the day. I know every pet is different, so I’d always follow the routine and instructions you provide rather than trying to change what they’re already comfortable with.

For dog walks, my campus and where I live are very close to a beautiful lake surrounded by greenery and forest-like paths. I regularly run along this route myself, so it’s an area I know well and feel comfortable in. I think it would be a lovely place for a dog to get some fresh air, exercise, and explore. However, I’m completely happy to walk them somewhere else if they have a route or area they already feel more comfortable in. The length and pace of the walks would also depend on your dog’s age, energy level, usual routine, and your preferences.

While I don’t have professional pet-sitting experience yet, I’m very comfortable around animals, patient, responsible, and eager to learn. I’m best suited to cats and friendly, well-behaved dogs whose owners can give me clear instructions about their routine and needs. Since I’m still building my experience, I may not be the right fit for pets with serious behavioral issues, aggression, or complex medical needs that require professional experience.

Most importantly, I’d want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and loved while they’re with me, and I’d treat them with the same attention and affection I would want someone to give my own pet.
