Animals have always been a very important part of my life. I grew up with different pets, including dogs, rabbits, a hamster and a turtle, and I have always found it easy to build a special bond with animals. I have my family's dog, who currently lives with my family in Spain. I was especially involved in her first year, helping with her training and education, so caring for dogs has been part of my life for many years. I have also had a lot of experience living alongside dogs in different homes and environments. While living in the Netherlands with a host family, I shared a home with a lovely Labrador, and during my time in New Zealand I also lived with two different dogs in separate homes. Being around dogs as part of everyday life has made me very comfortable with their routines, personalities and needs. I have also looked after dogs and cats belonging to friends, including staying in their homes, walking them, feeding them, playing with them and keeping them company. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, and I have experience looking after several dogs together. I am also used to bathing, brushing and taking care of their teeth, as well as giving medication when needed. What I enjoy most is going for walks, spending time with animals and seeing them relax and feel safe around me. I am calm, patient, affectionate, responsible and attentive, while also being active and happy to adapt to each pet’s needs. I believe that keeping an animal’s usual routine is very important. I always ask questions about their habits, personality and needs, and I like to keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel completely at ease while they are away. I currently offer dog walking and pet sitting in the owner’s home, as well as visits during the day. I can care for both dogs and cats and am flexible with different routines and needs. At the moment, I don’t offer boarding in my own home, but this may be possible in the future. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel safe, cared for and comfortable, while you can enjoy your time away knowing they are in good hands.
