Hi, I’m Irem! I’m a TU/e student and I’d love to help take care of your pet. I have previous experience with pet sitting, and I also had two cats for 10 years, which I cared for myself. Because of this, I’m very used to feeding, cleaning, playing, understanding different moods, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

Since I often study from home and have a flexible schedule, your pet would not be left alone while I’m sitting. I prefer looking after one pet at a time, so I can give them my full attention. When introducing a pet into my home, I would do it calmly and slowly, giving them time to explore, smell around, and get comfortable at their own pace. I would never force interaction and would make sure they have a peaceful space to relax.

In my apartment, I would make sure your pet has a calm, clean, and safe environment, with enough room to rest, play, and feel at home. Safety is very important to me. I live on the first floor with no balcony, and your pet would be under 24/7 supervision while staying with me, so there is no chance for them to escape. I would also make sure doors and windows are managed carefully at all times.

I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, cuddly, or needs some extra patience, I will adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding times, walks, habits, and any special needs.

For dogs, I’m happy to provide walks of at least 30 minutes, as many times a day as they need, depending on their routine and energy level. I’ll also keep you updated every few hours, and anytime you ask, with messages and photos so you feel reassured.

In case of an emergency, I would contact you immediately, stay calm, and follow your instructions. I’m responsible, caring, and patient, and I would treat your pet with the same love and attention as if they were my own.
