My names Deanna and I am graduate student from Wilfrid Laurier University with my degree in Global studies along with International Business Management. I’m originally from Toronto, Canada and now living in Eindhoven, Netherlands. I have another animal sitting account that is popular back home called Rover for 8+ years and continue to use it out here as well where you can see my reviews but am new to Pawshake :)

I currently work remotely for a tech company. I am a very hard working, positive, energetic individual that loves to work with all kinds of different animals. Ever since I was younger I grew up with animals of all sorts. They ranged from 5 dogs, 2 ferrets, 2 guinea pigs, 5 fish and one cat. My passion for animals started at the age of 8 when I was fortunate enough to see my white Siberian husky give birth to 3 puppies in our home. That forever will always resonate with me. Some of my other passions include working with underprivileged children as a camp counselor along with volunteering at Camp Oochigeas for kids that are affected by Cancer. Lastly, I had the absolute honor of experiencing an outreach trip in Dominican Republic where my team and I helped provide the resources to build a home for a family in need.

I’m working full time and fully remote so I will be able to be with your pet at home all day and have a pretty flexible schedule :)

I have a safely secured patio with a grass backyard that I find has helped put the animals at ease. My apartment is animal friendly and animals are allowed to stay on bed and couch to help feel more at home.

Of course it all depends on the dogs preference or what he or she is used to. but I very much enjoy walking around quiet neighborhoods, short hikes if the dog owner says it is okay, parks & the beach. Please let me know where you usually like to walk your dog and I would love to accommodate their needs to help them feel comfortable on their walks :)

All breeds are welcome! Please let me know if your dog is good around other dogs when walking, if they experience anxiety and to provide them their favourite toys during a visit :)
