I'm Amber, and I live in Strijp-S.

Loving animals has always been as natural to me as breathing. I can't really explain why—I simply love everything about them: their presence, their unique smell, their innocence, and the unconditional love they give.

I shared 19 wonderful years with my cat, Ringo. I adopted him when he was just two months old, and we truly grew up together. Being with him helped me understand what my mother meant when she talked about raising a child. As he grew older, he needed more care, and I was happy to give it to him. Last month, he became a star in the sky, and although I carry a sadness I had never imagined was possible, I have never regretted a single moment we spent together. He will always be my first baby and my everything.

I remember how worried I was whenever I had to travel back to my home country because Ringo had diabetes and required special care. That's why I would love to help anyone who needs a reliable and caring pet sitter, even if their pet requires medication or extra attention. (Of course, healthy pets are just as welcome!)

This will be my first time caring for pets belonging to people outside my family and friends, but I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved companion in someone else's care.

I am very familiar with cats and their behavior. I have experience caring for kittens as well, including bottle-feeding them every two hours. I myself don't have much experience caring for dogs because I was very young when my family had one. However, I truly love dogs and would be more than happy to give them all the affection and attention they want.

Most importantly, I always adapt to each pet's individual personality and needs rather than expecting them to adapt to me. Whether they want to play, cuddle, or simply have their own space, I will respect what makes them feel comfortable and safe.

I work full-time on weekdays, but I can work from home twice a week. On the days I work in the office, pets would be left alone for about 9 hours (from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). While I am in the office, I can also check the pets thru 2x petcams that I have at home. And if needed, I can shorten my office hours and spend more time at home. On weekends, I usually enjoy spending quiet time at home reading or writing, so your pet will have a calm and peaceful environment.

My home is free of diffusers and scented products, and there's a forest near my apartment that's perfect for walking dogs everyday (I am thinking of once or twice a day, 1 hour in total. Can be discussed).

If emergency happens, hoping it never happens, I can for sure let you know immediately and rush to the vet clinic as soon as I find it.
