Hi! My name is Gizem, and I live with my husband Cem in a comfortable house very close to Philips de Jongh Park. We are both engineers, and our lifestyle is calm, structured, and pet-friendly. I work in a hybrid setup, and Cem works fully remotely, which means there is almost always someone at home to give attention, supervision, and care to the pets we host.

We share our home with our 5-year-old deaf dog, whom we adopted three years ago. Living with a deaf dog has taught us patience, clear communication through body language, and how important routine and calm energy are for animals. Our dog is gentle, friendly, and well-socialized with other dogs, and she has helped us become very attentive pet parents.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from a genuine love for animals and the understanding of how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I aim to create a safe, peaceful, and loving environment where pets feel at home. I respect each pet’s personality, habits, and boundaries, whether they are playful or more relaxed.

I offer dog boarding in my home and accept only one guest dog at a time to ensure individual attention and a calm environment. Unfortunately, we can't accept small breeds as our dog usually doesn't get along. Daily care includes feeding based on your instructions, fresh water, playtime, companionship, and supervision, and I can administer basic medication such as pills or supplements when needed. Dogs receive two long walk per day lasting 40 minutes to one hour, along with several short outdoor breaks for toilet needs. Since pet care is already part of our daily routine with our own dog, guest pets are never left alone for more than three hours during boarding or one hour during daycare, and they can be supervised almost 24/7 as one of us is always at home.

For health and safety, I only accept vaccinated pets into our home. We live in a house with a fully fenced and secure backyard, and guest pets are welcome to sleep anywhere inside the house where they feel comfortable. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their comfort, wellbeing, and happiness.
