Hello there! 

My name is Elena and I am 19 years old. I am originally from Italy but moved to Amsterdam last September to study at university! Back in my home country, my family has a (very) lazy shih tzu, Fiona, who is my best friend and I miss her every day; that is why I am now trying to increase my levels of vitamin d(oggy) and become a pet sitter :) I have experience with many different types of dogs and have always gotten along well with all. I have previously dog-sitted Fiona's best friends, Pablo and Blu, two dachshunds, and got incredibly happy when Blu, who is often quite scared of people, was so happy to see me and that every time she would immediately turn supine to get some belly rubs! I have also had the pleasure to dog-sit an active (and hungry) golden retriever and, even though, she was quite bigger than the dogs I was used to, we got along so well that by the end of the experience, my clothes were filled with her hair due to our cuddles and games! If you have a dog and live in the Amsterdam area, there is a good chance that I have smiled and waved at you doggo on the tram or the street :) Thank you for reading my description and I can't wait to be able to meet your lovely pets :)! 

For home-sitting: 

I am a university student so my availability changes every semester however, I am free for house-sitting during the weekends, Wednesday and Friday. The reason for this is that, when looking after a dog I try not to leave them alone for more than 15/20 minutes, and I am sure on those days I can provide that. If necessary I can administer medication (non-injectables), water the plants, bring the mail in, or take the trash out. I have never kept my dog in a crate, so if not demanded by you, I will keep the dog free to roam around the areas of the house you prefer. I am a very clean individual, so you do not have to worry about any possible mess-making :) 

For dog walking: 

I am always open to dog walks and home visits after 6 pm. This semester, I am available for home visits and dog walks before 8:30 am or after 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thrurdays. On Friday after 11 am, Wednesday and the weekend I am free all day. The length and location of the walk can be agreed upon, I am open to anything shorter than 1 hour and a half and anywhere the owner prefers; if not agreed upon, I normally enjoy walking in parks (especially when sunny). I expect home visits to be around an hour and can water plants, bring the mail in, or take the trash out. I can offer medication if needed (non-injectibles).

For Dog-sitting at my house:

I am available on Wednesdays, Fridays and the Weekend. For this service, I only take small sized dogs (<15kg) as my house is quite small and I believe a bigger dog might not enjoy it. I have a semi-private park in my apartment building where me and the dog can play!
