Hi! I’m a freelancer working remotely and based in Amsterdam (IJburg, Sluishuis).

I’ve been surrounded by animals almost my entire life — especially dogs. I grew up with a Beagle named Mia, so I’m very familiar with their curious (and sometimes stubborn!) personalities. Taking care of her taught me patience, attention, and how to truly understand a dog’s needs.

I’ve also lived with a cat and regularly take care of my friends’ pets, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats.

Since I work from home, I’m around almost all the time. I usually start my day at 8 AM and structure it around the pet’s routine. Dogs get regular walks (2–3 times a day), along with playtime and a calm, relaxed environment in between.

I only step out occasionally for about an hour (for the gym, a few times a week), so pets are never left alone for long periods.

I’m attentive to each pet’s routine — including feeding schedules and daily habits — and I do my best to help them feel comfortable and safe in a new space. While I don’t have specific experience with highly anxious dogs, I’m naturally calm, patient, and observant, which helps animals settle in more easily.

I offer a cozy, quiet home in IJburg and take a limited number of pets to make sure each one gets enough attention and care. Safety and comfort always come first.
