I have more than fifteen years experience as a dog minder and owner. This started as a part time job when I was at university working for a couple who travelled a lot for work, I lived in their house for up to 6 weeks at a time to mind a golden retriever and King Charles. Through word of mouth this led to a busier and busier schedule where I ended up working for 10 different families as a dog walker and minder for a variety of breeds from small breeds such as French bulldogs, schnauzers up to greyhounds, lurchers and retrievers. I have always focused on minding dogs in their own home as I believe a dog is best minded by a stranger in their own environment where they are most comfortable. For cats depending on their personality and home set up I have always adapted to either staying in the owners home or just dropping by at regular intervals throughout the day.

Until late 2021 I always had a dog of my own, when I lost my last boy Rascal (black Shitz Tzu x Poodle in pictures) I decided not to get another companion as I had plans to move to Amsterdam. Now due to the nature of living in a house share I am putting the adoption of my next fur baby on hold which is why I have now decided to sign up to this app as I feel I have a lot of love to give our furry friends.
