I have been a dog care professional for 13+ years. I am dog (and cat) CPR and first aid trained and am comfortable with all breeds, ages, and sizes. I specialize in working with dogs that struggle with their peers, ones with anxiety and fear or aggression and those that need extra care. 
When sceduling a walk with me, your dog will not only get good exercise, but will have the chance to learn paw-sitive behavior that you'll notice a difference! I provide treats (please let me know if your dog has specific allergen information) and ensure your dog is mentally and physically engaged during their time outside.
Past pet-parents describe me as friendly, easy to work with, professional and loving toward their pets and family. Dogs would describe me as their home away from home, and their favorite friend throughout the day.
For overnights taking place in my home, please note that your dog must be housebroken. I have a medium female (castrated) labrodoodle who is a former service dog; the bonus is your dog will get extra socialization and learn extra behavior techniques! 
 I strongly believe that your dog is a part of your family and should be treated as such. If you're looking for someone who will value your dog, will go to go above and beyond the scope of general care, and will top it off with some training and professionalism, I'm your human!

I love animals. Truly. To my bone. I have worked as an assistant in a veterinarian's office, grooming, and staffed a boarding kennel. Personally, I have rescued 3 dogs and 2 cats so far (not all at the same time!). I have worked with skittish cats, reactive dogs, and goofy clowns who want nothing more than to warm your lap in between walks or play. I enjoy getting to know each animal and paying attention to their communication to the best of my ability.&nbsp;
My goal is to make sure that your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you're away. Hopefully, that also makes you comfortable while you need to be away.&nbsp;
Working with animals with special needs is no trouble, and I have experience administering medications, but let's chat and meet to discuss the specifics to keep them safe and make sure everyone understands their needs.&nbsp;
Human languages: I'm fluent in English and conversant in German.  My Spanish is a bit basic, but we can make it work. I'm learning Dutch, but cannot yet work solely in this language.  If you're reading this with a translator, that's okay, just make sure to translate instructions into English for me too, and we'll chat with a translation app.&nbsp;&nbsp;


Hi there,My name is Alexandra and I recently moved to Haarlem from London with my boyfriend and our 6 year old cocker spaniel, Prince. Having been on the receiving end of trying to find a carer for our dog, I understand the importance of finding a reliable person that you can trust to take care of your four legged companion. Prince is an active dog, so we make sure to take him on 3 long walks a day. We also play plenty of games with him at home to keep his mind sharp and entertained. Prince likes other dogs, particularly the ladies and would like to meet some more in the coming months. As Prince is not neutered, for overnight visits and day care we won't be accepting other dogs that are not neutered. Regardless of dog breed and sex, we would like to have a small meeting with your dog ahead of any overnight stays to ensure that both dogs get onMy partner and I both work from home and have lots of flexibility so your dog will rarelh be by themselves during the week. On the weekend, we like to explore so your dog may have to be by themselves for a few hours.We also have experience with anxious dogs or dogs with eating problems and want to make sure that we create a safe environment for your four legged pet. Hi, I'm Judy and I moved here from South Africa 8 years ago. I have grown up with dogs most of my life and would love to have one of my own now but we have a mom and son cat duo and I don't want to risk scaring them off by introducing a dog into their space. 
I live close to Groenendalsebos and I regularly walk in the dog section because I love watching how dogs play and interact. I can easily walk around there for over an hour. I'm sure any dog would love the chance to run and smell around the bos with me! I am also quite close to Meermond so I could take a dog for a walk on the lead around there and at the back of Herenboeren too.
