My name is Claudia Chornet Maldonado and I am 20 years old.
I was born and raised in Spain and I am currently studying in the Netherlands. My Bachelor is Animal Science at WUR, so I think it's safe to say I love animals! 
As a student, my parents don't allow me to have any pets because of the expenses, but I still wanted to become a pet sitter. 
I have had a dog before (a German Shepard) and my family owns different breeds too (Dalmatian, Blue American Stanford, Boxer, Labrador, Chihuahua and a long-haired Dachshund). I have also dog-sitted for my friends before, so I have experience with many types of breeds. 
Nevertheless, my student room is kind of small so if you have a big dog I don't think it's ideal for them to stay too long at my house (but I'll be happy to dog-sit at yours). 
I've also had two hamsters, a rabbit, canaries and fishes. I just have more experience with dogs :) Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats :(

I've beenaround animals from a young age. In my childhood home there were always cats, dogs and sometimes small animals like hamsters. So, I have experience with various types of pets, including older animals that need more peace, attention or care.&nbsp;
In the past I've regularly looked after animals through other websites or groups. I believe it's important for an animal to feel safe and comfortable, especially when its owner isn't around. Due to my job my availability during week is flexible. On friday and during the weekend I'm fully available. I’m comfortable providing basic grooming for pets and can give them oral medication when needed. If I’m house sitting, I can also water the plants. Hello! My name is Taro, and I am currently doing a Master’s degree in Animal Sciences at Wageningen University and Research. My passion for animals inspired me to choose this field of study, and I have gained professional knowledge in pet nutrition, feed formulation, and animal behavior.
Although I do not keep a pet permanently, I have over one and a half year of experience in pet sitting here in the Netherlands, including cats and dogs. During this time, I have cared for different breeds including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and especially a Shih Tzu named Cola, whom I looked after for around six months. Cola was full of energy (you cannot imagine how such a small dog can be so energetic!), so I walked him three times a day, went jogging together, and visited the dog park twice a week. Since he was not neutered, I was always very attentive to him and other dogs played with him.
I live in a comfortable studio in Wageningen, right next to a big forest and only 300 m away from a pet park. Pets in my care will have plenty of space and opportunities for outdoor activities. As I spend most of my time studying from home, I have lots of time to give dogs and cats the love, attention, and exercise they need.

I grew up on a farm surrounded by pets. We always had dogs and cats in our house and occasionally took care of others furry friends leading to sometimes having 5 dogs at home at the same time🥹
I am from Luxembourg and started my studies in Wageningen in September 2024 and now in New Zealand, Christchurch. Since I moved out from home, I really miss being surrounded by pets - especially dogs. As I can’t have pets on my own right now due to studies and because of it's time constraints I started pet sitting in my bachelor’s in Germany.
