I'm here because I love interacting with pets - I miss my pets back home and would LOVE to take care of yours :)

Animals are my joy and love, they make me happy, and caring for them is fulfilling and fun. 

Growing up I've had almost any 'pet' imaginable - cats, dogs, sheep, goats, rabbits, ducks, rats (and more). I've always had cats in my adult life, and (foster) dogs whenever it was possible. Unfortunately I couldn't have a pet since moving to NL, so I'm hoping to give my love to yours :)

I have veterinary experience, having worked in a vet clinic for a year. I've "worked" with this clinic for years before and after, as they were amazing with animal rescues - they helped me a lot with medical care for my rescued fosters, and I helped them when they had animals that needed fostering.

I've always fostered cats, from absolute newborns to older and sickly ones, babysat friends' dogs, and fostered two amazing dogs that were rescued from dog fights (you can see them in my pics, the happy lovely peaceful pitbull and the malinois mix). I was also lucky enough to briefly foster a bat, a hedgehog, a sparrow, and two very feisty mongoose babies.

My experience makes me very comfortable with some more advanced animal care. I can give oral medication and subdermal injections, and care for very old and sickly animals, as well as tiny newborns (including bottle feeding). I intentionally did not put other first aid care in my profile as I am not certified, but I have a lot of experience and knowledge and will easily recognize if there is a need for professional medical intervention. I have a car and can take your pet to the vet if needed, and will feel completely comfortable giving any follow-up care based on doctor's instructions.
