My name is Szeréna and I moved from Hungary to the Netherlands in 2022 for my boyfriend. By my qualifications, I'm a psychologist and life coach, but when I'm not here to make life better for people, I'm all for nature and animals! I grew up with both cats and dogs, particularly a wirehaired dachshund, a Doberman, and a German Shepherd. My first dog that I actually trained myself was a Belgian Shepherd x Labrador mix - he was amazing, and I was incredibly heartbroken when he passed at the age of 8. Additionally, my mom was a certified dog trainer, so I have a lot of knowledge and experience with animal behaviour and training. Now in a 6th-floor apartment, we have 2 indoor cats who are living the absolute dream life of sleeping, playing, and endless cuddles. Besides the small pets, I'm also a horse owner of 12 years, and I have moved my horse from Hungary to here shortly after my move. If anything, my horse is like a big dog - besides riding, I have spent a lot of time doing groundwork, refining communication, and teaching tricks. I'm self-employed and thus can be flexibly available throughout the day. Services I'm offering right now: Dog walking: a min. 30-minute walk with your dog around the neighborhood, over your usual route. If there's a dog park nearby, I'll happily go there and play with your dog as well, or teach your dog some basic tricks. Only in Breda. Home visits: open for 1x or 2x a day visits in and around Breda (outside of Breda, a 0,25 eur/km fee applies up to 15-18 km max). I'll spend min. 30 minutes at your house, and besides feeding, watering, petting, and playing with your pet, I can also water the houseplants and collect the mail. I can also administer medication, but only if it goes in the food and does not need to be given through the mouth/vaccination/etc. As I'm just starting out with my pet sitting, I'm not able to take pets with special needs or behavioral specialities at the moment. For pet healthcare reasons, I'm only taking pets with up-to-date vaccinations and without any contagious illnesses.
