Now in Amsterdam!

I am a Colombian second year MSc student and full time pet lover. Throughout my live I have had fish, hamsters, turtles and dogs. Currently I have a 9- year-old and very well-trained Westy waiting for me at my home country. I have been with dogs in my life for at least 15 consecutive years! but this doesn’t mean that I have any preference for them, I love all kinds of animals.

As I moved to Wageningen 1.5 years ago to follow my MSc studies I became (almost a full time) pet sitter. This gave me the opportunity to spent wonderful times with all kinds of animals. From chickens and rats, to dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and personalities, including with medicine requirements (yes, I have administered medicines to rats).

More technically speaking, now I’m doing my internship in Amsterdam. This means that I am outside home from Mon-Fri 8:30-6:30 approx, during the weekends I am free, I will be able to help you if your pet’s needs accommodate with that. Moreover, I can administer medicines. Unfortunately, I cannot drive in the Netherlands (I would need to get a NL drivers license). I’m learning Dutch (still in very basic levels), but English and Spanish are my languages for communicating.

As a pet owner, I know how difficult it is sometimes to find someone who takes care of our pets as if they were of their own. I know that pets have special needs and their own personality. I always do my best to take care of them as you do. Basically, I fit my routine to theirs, they deserve all the importance and attention to be given.

I am a very clean and responsible person. If I am at your place, I will take good care of it as well. I have no pets allergies and I would be delighted to take care of your’s, no matter what they need. For your own peace of mind and their well-being.
