Hi! I'm an experienced dog sitter with over 10 years of experience caring for my own or other people's dogs. I've been fostering & rescuing dogs and volunteering at many shelters throughout my life. I consider myself to be very patient and loving and I have managed to gain the trust of almost all the dogs I've met. I also have experience with dogs with mild behavioural issues and I'm open to discussing with you if this is your case.
When I'm dog sitting, safety and care for your dog comes before anything else. I dedicate 100% of my time to making sure the dog feels safe and loved under my care. I'm also good at basic dog training and development enriching exercises for dogs, if needed. In addition, I never take on more than one dog under my care at a time, so you can be assured I'm fully committed to your dog during their stay. I live right next to Oosterpark, and 2 others parks are within walking distance.

I work mostly from home and step out almost every evening to go do sports (usually between 1.5-2 hours). I live with one other flatmate who's also an experienced dogsitter. Our apartment has a small balcony that dogs love to chill on (under supervision, always) and the dogs are allowed to sleep either in my bedroom on their own bed, or on the sofa in the living room. I live on the second floor and the building has a lift for dogs who don't/can't climb upstairs. I prefer dogs who are used to being alone for at least an hour but if that's not the case, I'm also happy to adjust. I can provide toilet breaks approximately every 4 hours, if needed, and the walk duration usually depends on the size and breed of the dog and what they're used to. I've also cared for dogs with medical conditions and know how to handle emergencies well. I'm happy to adapt my routine to whatever your buddy needs :)
