Hi, I’m Nina and I'm new to pawshake.

Dogs have been part of my life for over 20 years, and what I’ve learned along the way is that every dog is different. I believe great dog care starts with taking the time to really see and understand the individual dog.

Not every dog thrives in large, noisy packs or benefits from constant stimulation and high-intensity exercise. Some need more calm, space, positive social experiences and time to sniff, explore and simply be a dog.

I’m currently completing a three-year professional dog trainer education, alongside further training in canine behaviour, body language and calming signals. I also volunteer with shelter dogs at DOA Amsterdam, something that has taught me even more about how differently dogs communicate and experience the world around them.

My goal is not simply to bring home a tired dog, but a dog who has had a really good time and comes home happy, fulfilled and relaxed.

The approach

I keep my groups for the nature walk intentionally small, with a maximum of 3 carefully matched dogs. Instead of staying in busy Amsterdam parks, I take the dogs out of the city and into nature around Amsterdam – to forests, dunes, open landscapes and water.

Less chaos - more connection.

Our time together is a mix of walking, sniffing, exploring, play, positive social interaction and quiet moments. I pay close attention to each dog’s body language, personality and what they need that day.

Nature Walk | €29

• Approx. 1–1.5 hours in nature

Before your dog joins us, we’ll arrange a meet & greet so I can get to know your dog (and you!) and make sure we're a good fit.
