Dog walks with patience & care 🐾

I’m Frances, an Amsterdam-based dog owner and animal lover. For the past five years, a big part of my life has been my rescue dog, Willy.

I have my own work outside of pet care, but I’ve been looking for a way to spend more of my free time outdoors and around dogs. After five years with Willy, I realized caring for and walking dogs is something I genuinely enjoy—and I’d love to use that time to help other dog owners in my neighborhood too.

Having a rescue dog has taught me that every dog has their own personality, sensitivities, boundaries and way of communicating. I’ve learned to understand what makes Willy comfortable, what makes him nervous, when he needs reassurance and when he needs some space. That experience has made me patient and attentive, and I bring the same approach to every dog in my care.

Whether your dog wants to stop and sniff everything, has endless energy or is more cautious around other dogs, I’m happy to adapt to their temperament and needs.

What I offer 🐾

I offer 30-minute dog walks, tailored to your dog’s energy level, temperament and normal routine. Before our first walk, I like to learn about their walking habits, commands, sensitivities and anything you’d prefer me to avoid.

I also offer doggy day care and overnight boarding in my home. I live in a 65 m² apartment with a private, fully fenced 65 m² backyard, so dogs have plenty of secure outdoor space. We’re also close to the off-leash dog area by Martin Luther Kingpark or Oosterpark for longer walks and outdoor time when appropriate for your dog.

For dogs staying with me, I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping routines and can administer medication when needed, following your instructions carefully. I want your dog’s time with me to feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.

As a dog owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is for you to feel confident that they’re receiving the same patience, attention and care that I would want for Willy.
