Gunnar & Grecia

Hi there!

We are Gunnar and Grecia, a dog loving couple based in Amsterdam west.

Grecia is a 32 year old Mexicana who has been living in Amsterdam since 2019 and works as a front-end developer. Gunnar is a 34 year old Icelandic guy and has been living in Amsterdam since 2016, working in Corporate Finance.

We both grew up with dogs in our families and miss having a dog in our lives. Due to our expat lifestyle we frequently travel which makes it hard to have a dog of our own. We regularly dogsit for our friends here in Amsterdam and have experience with Beagle, Poodle, Shih Tzu, French Bulldog, Kooikerhondje and various other breeds and sizes.

We are open for short walks, overnight and multi day stays. For overnight stay, we prefer to dogsit at our own apartment. We live in a dog friendly 80m2 apartment in Amsterdam west in a <10min walking distance from at least five parks, including Hondenspeelplaats de Geuz (dogpark). We can accommodate up to two dogs in our apartment.

Grecia speaks Spanish and English. Gunnar is limited to Icelandic and English. We are happy to pick up and drop off the dog to your apartment, depending on the location.

If considering overnight or multiple day stay, you are welcome to come by for a meet & greet and have a look at our apartment.
