A bit about me:

My name is Jensine. Im a 25 year old Norwegian working in architecture in Amsterdam, and i would love to be friends with your dog!

I grew up with dachshunds and my family still has two back home in Norway. The youngest is currently a very energetic 15 week old puppy! Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve realised how much I miss having dogs around, so I’d love to fill my weeks with a bit more dog walking, fresh air and dog company.

Availability and services:

Fridays are my main availability, when I’m free and can really take my time. I can offer anything from a shorter walk to a proper 1 to 3 hour outing, depending on what your dog enjoys and needs. Fridays are perfect for longer walks, exploring different parks, walking along the water or even going for a run if your dog enjoys it. I can also offer shorter walks on weekday afternoons, and I’m open to walks or pet sitting during weekends.

I’m happy to walk dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m very used to dachshunds, but I’ve also regularly walked friends’ bigger dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs that are stronger and have plenty of energy. I can also walk two dogs at once, which I’m very used to from having two dogs at home.

It’s not only about the walks, either. I’m happy to spend time playing, giving food and treats, giving them some attention and cuddles, or taking care of the usual little things they need throughout the day. Basically, I’m happy to give them some company and make sure they have a good day while you’re busy.

I’d eventually love to find a regular Friday walking buddy, but I’m also very happy to meet different dogs whenever our schedules happen to work out. I’m happy to come to your home to pick up your dog and walk in your neighbourhood, or have them dropped off with me if that works better.

I’m also open to looking after or checking in on other animals. I grew up around horses and birds as well, and I’ve also worked in a pet shop, so I’m comfortable around different kinds of animals. 

Mostly, I’m here because I genuinely miss having animals in my everyday life, and I think spending a Friday morning outside with a dog is a pretty good way to start the weekend.
