Hi! Cary here, originally from Sacramento, California, and my wife Alejandra, originally from Medellín, Colombia. We’re a professional couple living at IJdok, a modern building in central Amsterdam with great amenities and plenty of space for your furry friends. We moved to Amsterdam from Washington, D.C. 18 months ago.

We don’t have children or pets of our own, and while we’d love to have a pet one day, we feel that caring for yours is a wonderful way to share that love while balancing our professional schedules.

We have both grown up with cats and dogs and have continued caring for them throughout our lives. We lead active lifestyles and would be thrilled to welcome your pet(s) into our home or visit yours for walks, feeding, and playtime!

We understand that every animal has their own personality and routine, and we’ll do our absolute best to treat your pet with the same love, patience, and attention you would. We’re flexible, attentive to specific needs, and happy to coordinate schedules to find the right fit. We are open to extended stays, able to walk at nearby parks, and are prepared to communicate in case of an emergency. If additional food or other items are needed, we can absolutely purchase on your behalf. Typical walk duration is ~30 minutes. Daily routine is care for the animal in the AM, afternoon (depending on remote work schedule) and evening. Walks in the AM and evening.
