Loving Care for your pet while you’re away

About Miriam
My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from a very personal place. I shared my life with a Yorkshire Terrier for 14 wonderful years, and he was truly part of my family. After he passed away, I deeply missed the companionship, daily walks, and happiness that only a dog can bring. Taking care of other people’s dogs allows me to share that love again and to offer them the same attention, patience, and affection that I gave to my own dog. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take this responsibility very seriously.
About my services:
I currently offer daycare and dog boarding at my home, hosting a maximum of one dog at a time. This allows me to provide personalized care, a calm environment, and full attention to each guest dog.
I carefully follow the owner’s instructions and can administer oral medication if needed. While I do not offer professional training or grooming services, I am happy to reinforce basic routines and habits.
I take dogs on long and enjoyable walks, usually lasting 30- up to 60 minutes, depending on their energy level and needs. I typically offer 2 to 3 walks per day, ensuring that dogs have enough physical activity and mental stimulation.
I live close to Beatrix Park, where I often go for extended walks in green and peaceful surroundings.
I work from home most of the week, which allows me to spend a lot of time with dogs and provide constant supervision. I am particularly available on Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as on weekends.
During daycare, dogs are never left alone for more than one hour. I organize my daily schedule around the dog’s needs to ensure comfort, safety, and attention.
I live in a spacious apartment of about 76 square meters on two levels, shared with my roommate and friend, who also loves dogs. For safety and comfort, I usually stay on the first floor with guest dogs and avoid letting them use the stairs.
I have a dog bed available, and guest dogs are welcome to sleep there or in a designated comfortable area, depending on their habits. Although I do not have a private backyard, the apartment is calm, clean, and well-suited for dogs, and the nearby park provides excellent opportunities for outdoor activities.
My goal is to make every dog feel safe, relaxed, and loved while their owner is away. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and routines, and I always strive to create a warm and peaceful environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to give owners complete peace of mind.
