About me

I grew up in a loving family home that was never without dogs, so for me a house just feels more complete with a four-legged friend in it. About ten years ago I also had a dog of my own, and I still miss that daily companionship. Because I travel quite a bit myself, having a dog full time doesn’t fit my life right now. I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust when you’re away, and that’s exactly the person I’d love to be for you and your dog.

What I offer

Your dog stays with me at my apartment, whether for a few nights or a longer period such as a holiday or work trip. I work mostly from home, so I’m around and flexible. A typical day includes:

• A walk first thing in the morning
• A nice long walk at lunchtime
• Another long walk around 6 pm
• A short evening walk before bed

At weekends I love taking the car out to the forest to enjoy some nature, and it’s even better to share that with a canine guest. Depending on your dog’s needs, I never leave them alone for more than three to four hours.

Which dogs suit my home

I care for dogs only. My apartment is on the first floor with one flight of stairs, so it’s best suited to dogs that can manage stairs comfortably. If your dog has special needs, just tell me and we’ll see together whether my setup is a good fit.

Good to know

My apartment is a five-minute walk from Westerpark. There’s no garden or balcony, but whenever I notice your dog needs to go, I slip on my Crocs and we’re outside within a minute. I’m a non-smoker. I’m generally flexible with dates, apart from the periods when I’m travelling myself.
