Hi! I’m Bahar and I am a Master’s student living in Amsterdam. When I moved from Istanbul to Amsterdam for my Master’s degree, I had to leave my own rescue dog back home temporarily. I miss her more than I can say, and until I’m able to bring her here, I would love to give some of that care and affection to pets in Amsterdam while supporting owners who need someone they can genuinely trust.

I used to take my dog for a walk minimum 3 times a day for minimum 30 minutes depending on the weather conditions. Depending on the habits of the dogs walk can be longer, or in the form of a play time in the park. As I recently move to my studio apartment, I don't have too much furniture that makes the flat look crowded since it is already a small place. But I promise that I can take great care of your pets in my 30m2 studio apartment in West. I have lots of parks including Rembrandt Park next to where I live. I have to go to university 3 days a week for couple of hours. So your pets would be alone for the minimum time as much as possible.

As a pet owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your little friends in someone else’s hands. Finding someone responsible, attentive, communicative, and genuinely caring is incredibly important. My goal is to be exactly that person for you. In Turkey, I worked professionally as a dog walker through a similar pet-care platform, where I received training in dog walking and responsible handling. During high school, I also volunteered at a veterinary clinic as part of a social responsibility project. These experiences helped me become comfortable around animals with different personalities and taught me to pay close attention to their individual needs and behaviour.

I’m happy to help with dog walking, home visits, feeding, playtime, companionship, and general pet care. Walks and visits can be adapted to your pet’s usual routine, energy level, age, and individual needs. I’m especially comfortable caring for dogs, but I’m also happy to discuss care for cats and other household pets depending on their needs. I have a flexible schedule and based on my availability from my classes and your need, I believe we can arrange something.

Because I believe every animal is different, I prefer to understand your pet’s routine, personality, habits, and any special requirements before caring for them. If there are behavioural, medical, or other specific needs, please let me know beforehand so we can make sure I’m the right fit.

I’m responsible, communicative, and happy to keep you updated as often as you’d like. I understand how precious the trust you place in a pet sitter is, and I will care for your pet with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own dog.
