Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with Labradors, Dalmations and German Shepherd at our home in India, took my first steps with our dog's support and today, I miss being so far away from our 14 year old little Pug, Super, and Pekingese, Duper. You'll see them in my pictures!

Before leaving India in 2017 for my MBA and moving to the Netherlands with my Kiwi partner nearly 6 years ago, I cared for 35 stray dogs living in my neighbourhood and around my office. This meant showing up every day, coordinating vet visits, providing two healthy meals a day, having playtime and giving love to animals that had been on their own without love for most of their lives. It was one of the most heartwarming things I have done and I miss not being able to support animals more since I left.

Right now I am in between jobs, the market's not easy for sustainable finance, and spending time with animals is what I love doing most. I have also volunteered with Friendicoes, an animal welfare organisation in India and have cared for dogs in London through the BorrowMyDoggy platform while I lived there. I have lived with pets at pretty much every stage of my life and have a good sense of how they communicate.

I am also a proud godmother to a nearly six year old Bernese Mountain Dog, Bau, who lives in Amsterdam and is my absolute favourite. You will spot him in my photos, a giant 55 kg dog who will never stop being a puppy.

Our apartment is on the 4th floor, with a good sized enclosed roof terrace. We have Erasmuspark, Vondelpark and multiple dog playing areas within walking distance.

I know how hard it is to leave your pet with someone you don't fully trust. I will always make time to get to know your pet before any stay, understand their routine and make sure they feel comfortable with me first. I am happy to answer any questions before we get started.
