ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ayşe, born and raised in Istanbul. I lived in Europe for a while, in a few different places, and now I've been living in Amsterdam for 2 years with my Dutch partner. We had two cats together - both rescued in Istanbul - but we lost Tigoş❤🐱 in December and it was very sad for us. Now only his brother Kediş is with us.

I studied comparative literature and now I make/edit films and write articles. Luckily my job allows me to do other things. . My strongest strength is that I am very maternal. I like to take care of the beings around me and I feel comfortable doing that.

I grew up with many animal species around me and being from Istanbul has a great influence on the love for animals that I have had for as long as I can remember. Animal enthusiasts know that Istanbul is a city of both cats and dogs. You come across them every step of the way, which is a joy. I think this is one of the reasons why I devote a part of my life to street animals. I couldn’t have it in any other way. I often go there to help and do volunteer work. 

I have been house-sitting and animal-sitting all over the world for about 10 years, and recently here in Amsterdam. I used to help my mum when I was a child, she was doing it back then, so I feel quite confident. Unfortunately, I can no longer host pets in my new home, since it is not suitable but I can always stay at yours!

My choice to live in the city has not been bitter at all thanks to my job as an pet-sitting. Since my world is surrounded by animals and I had dogs, cats, birds and chickens in our garden as a child, I know no other alternative to this reality. I enjoy every second of spending my time with animals and can't wait to make new friends!

I am quite good with all kinds of pets and very experienced. I always try to make them feel very loved! After many years of volunteering, I am sure that the love you give and share is the most important thing. I am a freelancer, so I always have enough time with them. SERVICES 

I can give medication, offer clicker training and grooming for cats and dogs.

I can also offer home visits, dog walks, day care and house sitting at any time. And if I stay at your home, I will be working from there. We can also discuss all the details together. I am flexible!

Dog walks minimum 30 mins depending on the dog and I can do this twice a day for an additional fee.

I can spend an hour with your pet for daily care and can go back and forth up to two times for an additional fee.

*Ik spreek Nederlands, maar natuurlijk is mijn Nederlands erg langzaam en erg vervelend. Ik maak veel fouten. Bare with me!

Je parle un peu le français. Mais je n'ai plus le temps d'améliorer mon français. Car je veux parler très bien le néerlandais.
