Why choose me as your pet's new friend? 🐶🐈🙋‍♀️

I am Elise, a freelance designer and photographer based in Amsterdam Oost super close to De Pijp who loves dogs and cats and has experience with dog/cat sitting & walking. Knowing how difficult it is to find a petsitter, I joined Pawshake in the summer of 2022 to help out dog/cat parents when they need a well-deserved holiday🏝 or when they need to be in the office, go to an event etc.

Availability ✅

I live in Amsterdam Oost close to De Pijp and work remotely most days so I can offer:

- dog walking around Amsterdam Oost or De Pijp. I can also go to other neighbourhoods for multiple set days (dog walking)

- work & spend time with your dog/cat at your home for a few hours (daytime care)

- pet sitting/housesitting in Amsterdam for multiple days. I can go to Haarlem/The Hague/Utrecht as well (Price is then excluding transportation). Price is generally for one dog (+1 cat) only. If you have 2+ dogs then we can discuss the additional costs. I always like to meet beforehand and do a tryout before and make sure it's a good match!

Background & Experience 👩‍🏫

Since I was little I have always had dogs around, from a Terrier, German Shepherd, strays from Romania, and a Miniature Poodle, so I learned from a young age about different breeds, dog body language, personalities, and behaviors.

Living in The Netherlands for a few years now, I occasionally was able to help friends, colleagues, and people from the Expats with Dogs in Amsterdam FB community when they needed a dog walker or pet sitter. Some of the dogs I have taken care of were rescued dogs from Hungary & Ukraine, a little French Bulldog mommy and her young puppies, Australian Terrier, a Chihuahua, etc. I also had a good time taking care of cats!
