Hi Pet parent!

I'm Joana, your possible future petsitter :)

I am 34, Portuguese, born and raised in Switzerland. I've been in Amsterdam for about 2 and a half years now and I've been missing my 20y.o cat I got when I was 14y.o... I miss my girl so much is the least to say. 

I've recently took care of a cat during 3 weeks (in Amsterdam) and I realized how much I miss being around them so I decided to join Pawshake to help people while they're being away and, myself, enjoy the company of having a pet around for few days and taking care of it :)

I've always been an animal lover and was surrounded pretty much my whole life with them. I have a soft spot for cats I can't deny it, they're just the best creatures. 

I am a very responsible and respectful person and I will take care of your cat as if it was mine. I will respect its space and know the boundaries of your animal by observing it and letting it come to me while being present and open. 

For things to be easier for everyone and have the most of my time with your animal, I only offer house sitting stays at your place to not disturb your animal habits and environment. 

I will be present for your cat(s). Give them love and care and the space to be themselves, every cat is unique and has different needs/wants. I promise lots of cuddles as long as your animal allows it, I will never force contact in anyway. Give them treats (as long as you allow me and I'll always show you what treats or you can even tell me which one, if you have favorites or your cats follows some kind of diet) Play with them... In short, I'll be fully invested in the care of your pet.

I am a trustworthy person who will take good care not only of your pet but also your place. 

I will be honest, plants are not my best thing to take care of, but I can read really clear instructions on when and how much to water them. This, I can do. 

Besides that, I'll leave your place as clean and tidy as I would leave mine. (As long as you have everything for it) - I have some review about it. 

You'll come back to a clean place and happy cat after being away :) I'll make sure of this. ✨

Practical informations:

- I speak 4 languages - English, French, Portuguese and Spanish, so you can contact me in whatever language is more convenient for you. 

- I'll always be available and stay in contact with you while you're being away (unless you ask me otherwise of course) And will send you pictures/news of your pet if it's something that is important for you! :)
