Hello! My name is Leigh, and I am a dedicated and compassionate pet sitter with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds. I have had the pleasure of looking after a beautiful Maine Coon cat for over three years, which has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs, personalities, and grooming requirements of long-haired breeds. This experience taught me not only about providing daily care and attention, but also about recognizing subtle changes in behavior that might signal health or comfort issues. Beyond my experience with Maine Coons, I have cared for cats and dogs of many breeds, sizes, and temperaments. From energetic puppies to senior cats in need of gentler care, I tailor my approach to each pet’s age, personality, and health needs. I am comfortable with administering medication, maintaining feeding schedules, and offering enrichment through play, walks, or quiet companionship. My love for animals began at an early age, and over the years, I have gained valuable knowledge in pet behavior, basic training techniques, and the importance of routine in creating a sense of security for pets. I understand that every animal is unique, and I take pride in adapting to their individual preferences—whether they enjoy long walks, interactive play, or simply a calm presence nearby. I am also highly reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful of pet owners’ homes. I know how important it is for pet parents to feel confident that their companions are safe and cared for in their absence, and I make communication a priority by providing regular updates, photos, and reassurance. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, I would love to help. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for every animal I care for while giving their owners peace of mind.
