Hi, I’m Floris – a devoted dog lover and responsible pet sitter based in Amsterdam West. 🐾

I'm currently taking a break from full-time work as I navigate a career change, and I’ve decided to dedicate this time to something that brings me genuine joy: caring for animals. I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs and grew up in a home where pets were truly part of the family. In recent years, I’ve regularly looked after friends' dogs—everything from daily walks to overnight stays—and it's something I absolutely love doing.

I live in a pet-friendly, 60 sqm apartment close to several parks and walking areas, which makes it a great space for dogs who enjoy being outdoors. I'm happy to host small to medium-sized dogs in my home, and I also offer house sitting for pets who feel more comfortable in their own environment.

What makes me a great sitter? I’m calm, attentive, and really in tune with dogs’ body language and needs. I tailor my care to each individual dog—whether they’re high-energy and playful or more sensitive and in need of a gentle presence. I’m also mindful of their routines, preferences, and any special instructions you might have.

Spending quality time with animals brings me peace and purpose. I’ll make sure your furry friend is not only well cared for, but also feels safe, loved, and seen while you're away.

Looking forward to meeting you and your pup soon! 🐶💛
