Hej! I'm Maja - originally from Sweden, but Amsterdam has been my home for the past 12 years and I absolutely love life here (ik spreek ook Nederlands als je dat fijner vind!). As a freelancer, I'm lucky to work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to fill my days with walks, cuddles, playtime and keeping furry friends company.

Animals have always been a natural part of my life. I had cats back in Sweden, and over the years I've naturally become the friend everyone calls when there's a pet around. In fact, I'm now the third friend joining Pawshake after spending so much time helping out with and falling in love with all the pets my friends have cared for!

I live close to a lovely park, perfect for walks and outdoor adventures, and my apartment is just one flight of stairs up - easy and cozy for visiting pets. I also love to travel myself, so I know how important it is to leave your animal with someone caring, trustworthy and calm while you're off exploring the world.

Whether your pet loves long walks, belly rubs, sofa cuddles or simply having good company around, I’d be so happy to help make them feel safe, relaxed and loved while you're away.
