Hi! My name is Anneloes, and dogs have been a big part of my life for the past 6 years (before that I thought I had allergies!). I shared a very sweet dachshund with a close friend until recently, and for the past 2,5 years I’ve been caring for two whippets together with my ex-partner. I also fostered a dog who was later adopted by a friend. Through these experiences, I’ve gained hands-on knowledge of different personalities, energy levels, and training needs.

Over time, I’ve developed a deep love for sighthounds. I find their gentle, goofy nature and their big feelings in a skinny body the best thing in the world. Caring for two whippets has taught me a lot about their subtle ways of communication, their need for structure, and for decompression. From beach zoomies to couch potato, I love it all! Because I’m sharing the care of my two whippets with my ex I have space to take care of other whippets and other sighthounds. My girls loveee to meet other sighthounds as well when it fits! 💖

I live in a spacious apartment right next to Rembrandtpark, with plenty of great walking routes nearby. I also regularly visit Sloterpark and De Bretten, which are ideal for quieter walks and dogs who need a more low-stimulation environment. For more adventurous outings, I often take my car to the Amsterdamse Bos or the beach—perfect for off-leash runs and zoomies.

Until last year, I worked as a freelance project manager (mostly from home). Since developing long COVID last fall, I’ve been focusing more on activities that genuinely bring me joy, and spending time with my girls and other dogs is one of the biggest ones. Due to my recovery I spend most of my time at home and going on walks, my couch potato girls love taking naps together 🥰

I’m calm, responsible, and caring, and I enjoy getting to know each dog's personality. I have several dog beds, plenty of cozy blankets, and two soft crates available for crate-trained dogs if they prefer. I also have a car. I'd love to meet your sighthound and make sure they have a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable stay while you’re away. 🐶
