Hey! 

My name is Matthew, I’m Australian/Bermudian and my partner Evie is Dutch - we live together in Amsterdam West.

I work from home in tech sales, and Evie works at a restaurant while finishing her Master’s degree. Because I work remotely and Evie’s schedule is flexible around her studies, we’re often able to spend plenty of time at home. This means we are very happy and excited to have your furry loved ones stay with us for short visits and give them lots of attention and care.

We are both very active and love the outdoors. Living in Amsterdam West means we are close to many great green spaces and parks where we can take dogs for long walks, playtime, and plenty of exercise. We live in a spacious apartment with a safely enclosed balcony, although we much prefer to get outside and make sure dogs get plenty of movement and stimulation. We typically aim for at least two walks a day.

Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in Australia and spent many years co-parenting a wonderfully cheeky Hungarian Vizsla named Finn, who was an incredible companion. Earlier in my life I also grew up with two large, athletic rescue brothers who were a huge part of our family. Because of this background, I’m very comfortable with energetic, intelligent dogs and the responsibility that comes with them.

We absolutely love spending time with dogs, whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or being patient and gentle with new puppies or older dogs.

We are very happy to meet you and your pets before any booking, as we understand that leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful.

We would love to help take care of your furry friend and treat them as if they were our own.
