Pawshake's definition of boarding is night, so if you book several nights, that becomes sitting + boarding. I had to adjust my price because I wrongly put only night time in my pricing.

If you only want 1 night and not days, please DM and I will adjust the price.

I get A LOT of requests where you guys don't read my full text or respect my preferences let's please not waste each other's time.
- only chihuahuas (my dogs have many friends but they prefer chihuahuas. To make it comfortable for them, please respect this).
- has to be castrated/neutered or my boys will mark, although they are castrated. Or, yours will most likely mark. I am prepared for accidents, but want to avoid behaviours that will cost me a lot of money in cleaning.


My name is Niki and I'm a graphic designer taking a break from corporate life to care for my 2 chihuahuas and figure out what I want to do next in my career. This means I also have more time to pet sit.

I can only accept chihuahuas as I have 2 seniors my own and they are very particular with what they like. This is also the breed I know the best, especially reactive chihuahuas.

I've cared for 4 chihuahuas for the past 12 years, 3 of them my own. I have also fostered a Romanian stray for 1 year until we found her a good home.

Today, my dog Justin is 12yrs and has calm energy. I've had him since he was 10 months old. My other dog Benny is 10yrs and I adopted him recently. He is very energetic and playful. Both of them go to daycare once/week for socialization and play; they love it! 

My partner and I live in Overhoeks, Amsterdam Noord. We have a 64m² apartment in a new building and walk our dogs in the neighbourhood. Wherever we go, our dogs follow. We have a car and a bike with a secure dog basket if needed to travel from A to B. For occassional boarding, we can pick up/drop off. For more regular sitting, I'd like the owner to drop off/pick up if possible.

We are able to accept 1-2 dogs at a time. I am open to discuss your special needs and see if our calendars align.

Since my dogs are seniors, I can only help you if your dog is fully vaccinated: rabies, leptospirosis and the yearly cocktail incl. kennel cough. I also encourage regular deworming and treatment against lice (we use Simparica every 3 months). I also would like to ask for neutered dogs as frequent indoor marking can be very difficult to clean.

Niki
