Hi! I’m Melissa, originally from South Africa and now living in Amsterdam. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. I grew up with two dachshunds, so I’m very familiar with different dog personalities and their needs.

I have a very caring and attentive nature, which also reflects in my work. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable at all times. My sister is a veterinarian, which has given me extra insight into animal health and wellbeing.

I enjoy being active, so I’m happy to take dogs on walks that suit their energy levels — whether that’s a short 20–30 minute walk or a longer, more active outing. I adapt to each dog individually, whether they are playful and energetic or more relaxed and need gentle care.

During home visits or pet sitting, I make sure pets stick to their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I also keep owners updated so you always have peace of mind.

I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will treat them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
