Dog walking available from professional and genuine pet lover.

Hi, I'm Rebecca, a professional tour guide in the Netherlands and Italy. Originally British, I moved out of the UK almost a decade ago, dividing my time between Rome and Amsterdam, but am currently based permanently in Amsterdam. I

speak fluent English and Italian, but I’m still working on my Dutch, Spanish, French and Greek! I am currently studying to become a wine sommelier, and am spending my free time studying and developing other skills for work.

I have had pets my whole life, and I particularly love dogs. I've always helped friends out with dog walking and sitting, often for long periods of time, and genuinely enjoy staying active with my furry friends! I have a 6 month year old miniature schnauzer called Duccia, who is spirited and independent, and loves cuddles. We are currently training her, through both private and group classes, and are delighted with her progress. So, if you would like me to reinforce any particular training or behaviours during walks it’s no problem, just let me know!

I am available for dog walking and sitting in the Amsterdam Zuid/Buitenveldert/Amstelveen area. I live between some great parks (Beatrix, Bos & Amstel) so am very familiar with these areas and I also have a basket with safety cover on my bicycle (can be seen in the photos) so am more than happy to take small dogs to their favourite park in it! As we are still training our puppy I will walk her alone, and therefore will walk your dog alone also, so every pup gets undivided attention. Walks typically last between 30-40mins and for sitting I can come to your house for 1 hour over lunch (or another time as required) and feed, play with, walk or just spend some companionable time with your pet. I am reliable and honest, available for regular appointments or one-offs as necessary, and of course promise to take good care of your beloved pet!
