Hi! We’re Ana (32) and Thomas (35), a dog-loving couple living in a spacious first-floor apartment in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid.

I (Ana) grew up surrounded by animals (dogs, cats, parrots, turtles and many more). Together, we had a Chihuahua, and our love for dogs is what brought us to Pawshake. We both absolutely adore dogs and know from experience that every dog has their own personality. Whether your dog is super social and full of energy or prefers a quiet day filled with cuddles, we’ll do our best to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy and comfortable while you’re away.

We live in a peaceful neighbourhood with plenty of green spaces nearby for daily walks, and Bellatrixpark is just around the corner! We genuinely love having dogs around, whether that means going for walks, playing together, enjoying some cuddles on the sofa or simply keeping each other company.

We understand that leaving your dog with someone else can be difficult, so we want both you and your furry friend to feel at ease. We’ll happily keep you updated and make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, affection and care throughout their stay, we take our responsibility seriously.

We recently said goodbye to our 11-year-old Chihuahua, Drugo, who passed away due to heart disease. We miss him dearly, but the experience taught us even more about the importance of patience, responsibility and adapting to a dog’s individual needs. We’re experienced in administering oral medication and caring for dogs with special needs, and we would treat your dog with the same love and attention we gave our own.

I work from home 2-3 days a week, while Thomas goes to the office every day. Drugo used to accompany Thomas to the office 3 days a week because he couldn’t be left alone for medical reasons (this could also be an option). On the weekends, we have a quite flexible schedule, so is easy for us to be always around your dogs.

Our availability: Dog boarding for stays of fewer than 5 nights, max 2 dogs per Booking. Only 1 booking at a time.
