Hi, I'm Sam 👋. I love dogs and I love caring for them. I've grown up with beagles and golden retrievers. And I've also cared for and walked many other dogs such as Mountain dogs, Gundogs, Terriers, Spaniels, Greyhounds etc as well as many mixed breeds. My approach is thoughtful and considered. I understand each dog is different and may require a different approach. For example, one dog may be very anxious of other dogs and therefore this needs to be considered with how I carry out the walk. Therefore, when you message me, I will always check with you the character of your dog and if there are any specific needs/requirements that I need to be aware of.

About myself... I'm new to the Pawshake app. I'm currently in the middle of a career switch and I envisage that switch including walking and caring for dogs on a regular basis :). Overall, I'm a very active person. So spending more time outdoors is perfect for me. I have lived in Amsterdam for over 10 years so I know the city well in terms of walking routes.

In terms of my service, I can provide walks of up to 60mins. And I am able to pick up and drop off your dog at your home. I would always aim to walk dogs on their own as opposed to in a group. However, if you prefer to have your dog walked in a group then I can look to arrange this.

I'm really looking forward to meeting lots of new dogs and providing them with lots of love, care and exercise!

ps - my mother tongue is english but I can speak dutch very well (so please feel free to message in dutch if you prefer :)).
