About Sharona
Your Pet's Gardenhome Away From Home next to Rembrandtpark
Hi there! We are a couple of lifelong animal lovers with a quiet home and a lot of heart to share. After years of owning and fostering dogs, we found ourselves without a furry friend of our own. We’ve decided to channel all that "missing" love into pet sitting!
We aren't a busy doggy daycare. We intentionally limit ourselves to no more than 2-3 dogs at a time to ensure your pet gets 100% of our attention, cuddles, and care.
Our Home & Routine
- Enclosed Garden: We have a secure garden with a separate entrance (muddy paws are never a problem!). It’s a sun-trap from 12:00 to 19:00—perfect for those who love to "follow the sun" for naps.
- Prime Location: We live right next to Rembrandtpark. Our standard routine includes a morning walk at 09:00 and an afternoon stroll at 15:00, including one "big lap" of the park per day.
- Peace of Mind: We know how nerve-wracking it is to leave your baby. We provide frequent photo and video updates so you can see exactly how much fun they’re having.
Experience & Philosophy
Whether your dog is a "rascal," a "cuddlebug," or a rescue who needs a little extra patience, they are welcome here while we work from home. We do not discriminate against breeds; we believe every dog deserves a loving environment, regardless of their start in life.
📋 Services Offered
- Day Care: Includes a 30 - 60 min walk and a pee break. (09:00 - 17:00)
- Boarding: Overnight care (16:00 to 10:00).
- The "Pooch Mobile": For longer adventures, we can discuss trips to Oeverlanden or Amsterdamse Bos.
- Cuddles: Provided enthusiastically at no extra cost.
⚠️ A Few Important Notes
To ensure a safe and happy stay, please keep in mind:
- House Training: Because we have wooden floors, we can only host dogs that are fully house-trained.
- Socialization: Since we live right next to an off-leash park, our home may not be the best fit for dogs that are highly dog-reactive. Even if we avoid going to the park there's always a lot of doggies around.
