Hi! My name is Anneloes, and dogs have been a big part of my life for the past 5 years (before that I thought I had allergies!). I shared a dachshund with a close friend until recently, and for the past 2 years I’ve been caring for two whippets together with my ex partner. I also fostered a dog that got adopted by a friend. Through them, I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience with different personalities, energy levels, and (training) needs. I selected all sizes dogs, generally prefer small to medium but very happy to host large sight hounds as well! 

I genuinely love spending time with dogs — going on long walks, doing training exercises, and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy. I live in a rather spacious apartment right next to Rembrandtpark, so there are plenty of opportunities for nice walks nearby. I also often frequent Sloterpark and de Bretten (great places for quiet walks for reactive dogs!) and drive to the sea or the Amsterdamse Bos for extra adventure and exercise. Beach zoomies!!

Until last year I worked as a freelance project manager. Since developing post COVID last Fall, I’ve been focusing more on things that genuinely give me energy and joy, and spending time with dogs is definitely one of them. I’m calm, responsible, attentive, and I really enjoy building trust with animals and adapting to their individual needs. I would love to take care of your dog and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and have a great time while you’re away! :) I have several dog beds at home, and 2 (soft) crates as well.
