Hi! My name is Defne and I am an Economics student at the University of Amsterdam with a genuine love for animals, especially dogs. I have grown up around pets and currently have a 7-year-old toy poodle, so I understand first-hand how important routine, patience, and affection are for a dog’s well-being. Being a dog owner has taught me how to read dogs’ body language, respect their boundaries, and adapt to different personalities and energy levels.

In addition to caring for my own dog, I regularly volunteer at dog shelters, where I help with walking, feeding, and socializing dogs of various sizes and temperaments. This experience has made me comfortable handling both calm and energetic dogs, as well as dogs that may need extra reassurance or structure. I truly enjoy spending time outdoors, going on walks, and making sure dogs feel safe, stimulated, and happy while their owners are away.
