I am a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs and building a calm, trusting connection with them. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love for dogs and my current situation: due to living in a small home and my partner’s allergies, I cannot own or adopt a dog permanently, even though I would love to. Pet sitting allows me to be useful, active, and happy while doing something I genuinely enjoy.

I have hands-on experience with dogs in different situations. I have done three weeks of full-time house sitting for a previously traumatic cocker spaniel, temporarily took care of a puppy adopted from a shelter for about one year providing daily care, training basics, and a safe environment in a house with a garden until his permanent home was found, and regular morning walks to varying dogs. These experiences taught me responsibility, consistency, and how to adapt to a dog’s individual needs.

When walking dogs, I prioritize safety and calm behaviour: I adjust the pace to the dog’s energy level, avoid overly crowded areas if a dog is anxious, and always stay attentive to their surroundings. During home visits and house sitting, I make sure dogs feel secure by keeping their routine consistent, following feeding and medication instructions carefully, and giving them both affection and space when needed.

I also have experience with cat sitting during the COVID period, although I am mildly allergic and therefore prefer working with dogs. I aim to provide a calm, loving, and reliable environment where your dog feels safe and cared for while you are away.
