Having been the owner of an 8 year-old British shorthair while being on the road frequently, I understand the frustration of getting a wrong cat sitter. This is why I'd love to spend my spare time in Amsterdam taking care of the lonely cats. However, I cannot take cats into my apartment because Jos (my cat) has strong territorial issues. But I don't just want to feed your cats; I want to play with them and be with them as long as possible. I'm open to stay for an afternoon or an evening to be with your cats.

In the past, I've taken care of my friends' cats, in Amsterdam but also in Paris. Some of them are young, and energetic, needing a lot of attention and playtime. Some of them are old and difficult. They are easily scared, hard to familiarise with issues with digestion and toilets. Because of my patience, in the end we became friends. 

I prefer not to overwhelm cats when we first meet. Instead, I will be patient and wait for them to show signs of trust before starting to play with them. I know snacks can be cheating, but I'm not guilty of using it to establish and strengthen a great relationship with the cats.
