Hello fellow cat lover! :)

My name is Julie, I am 25 years old and I'm from Austria. I moved to Amsterdam to pursue my studies in Curating Art and Cultures at the UvA and VU, after having finished my BA in Art history. While I'm rounding up my Master's and focusing on writing my thesis, I'm longing for something I have missed for a long time, namely cats! 

Back in Austria, my family had four cats - Kitty, Charly, Kimmy and Johnny - and I miss them dearly. Ever since growing up, I wanted to have cats myself, as they make me incredibly happy and are just the sweetest and coolest creatures existing. Unfortunately I'm not in the position to become a cat mom yet, but I thought that cat-sitting would be the ulitmate solution. 

Besides taking care of my own cats (with very different "special" personalities) at home, I have also cat-sitted twice in Amsterdam. Once, I took care of Gary, a sweet cat for my roommate's friend. The owner wanted me to visit the house twice a day, to make sure of Gary's basic needs, including food, water, a clean litter box, and of course, lots of cuddles. Gary and I got along wonderfully and I still miss him til this day! My second job was to cat-sit Nala, a beautiful Maine-Coon. Besides the basic duties, I had to give Nala oral medication once a day due to gastrointestinal problems. I took care of this cute lady for 10 days, and the owners were very happy when they came back from their visit.

As a true cat lover, I believe I can sense a cat's temperament and I am aware of their varying personalities and moods. I would describe myself as a very honest, trustworthy and reliable person, that just loves cats with her whole heart!
