Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with 37 years of experience living with and caring for dogs. I grew up with Labradors and have always had animals around me, including a cat who was part of my family for 19 years. My parents still have two Labradors, and my girlfriend and I currently share our home with a wonderful 15-year-old Cairn Terrier/Westie mix, who we rescued five years ago. Caring for dogs has always been something that comes naturally to me. I’ve helped train the dogs I grew up with, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Even just seeing a dog while walking around Amsterdam puts a smile on my face! For walks, I’m happy to adapt to your dog rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether your dog needs a short relaxed stroll or a longer, more energetic walk, I’ll base the pace and distance on their age, energy level and capabilities. I especially enjoy running with dogs who love to run, as well as exploring parks, forests and the beach. I’m based in Oud-West and am happy to look after friendly, well-socialised dogs of different ages and sizes. I’m also comfortable with older dogs who prefer slower, shorter walks and plenty of patience. Because I have an older dog at home, I’d want to make sure any dogs staying together are a good match. Most importantly, I’ll treat your dog with the same care, patience and affection I’d want someone to show my own dog. My goal is simple: for your dog to come home happy, relaxed and ready for a well-earned nap! Look forward to meeting your four legged family member.
