Hi! I’m Michelle, and I grew up surrounded by animals in Peru. I’ve always loved being around them, especially dogs. I had a Golden Retriever, a Husky, and a Poodle who was part of my family for 13 years. I also grew up with hamsters, chickens, canaries, and bunnies, so I’ve been around all kinds of animals from a young age.

Since moving to Amsterdam, I really miss my dogs back home. I miss taking them for walks, spending time with them, and just having them around. That’s one of the main reasons I’d love to take care of other people’s pets here. I think it would be a lovely way to spend time with animals again while helping owners who need an extra hand.

I’m very comfortable with large dogs and have experience walking my Husky. I’d love taking dogs on walks around the Jordaan, exploring the neighbourhood and letting them enjoy some fresh air. I’m also happy to follow their usual walking routes and routines, depending on what they’re used to and what their owners prefer.

I live in an apartment in the centre of Amsterdam, and I’d make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and gets plenty of attention while staying with me. I’d follow your instructions about feeding, walks, and their usual routine. I also understand that every pet is different, so I’d take the time to get to know their personality and needs.

I’m available most days, except Mondays and Thursdays between 5 and 10 pm. When caring for a pet, I would aim to make sure they’re not left alone for more than 30 minutes.

I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’d treat yours with the same care and affection I would give my own. I’d love to meet you and your furry friend!
