Hi! I’m Helena, a Portuguese working student living in Amsterdam. I have a poodle back home who I miss a lot, which is what motivated me to start pet sitting. Being around dogs genuinely makes me happy, and I love having the chance to care for them and spend time with them.

I’m a very attentive, calm, and responsible person, which is something I bring into pet care. I pay close attention during walks (especially making sure dogs don’t pick up or eat things they shouldn’t) and step in immediately if needed. I’m also comfortable handling situations like a dog feeling unwell, including vomiting, and making sure they’re monitored and cared for properly.

I really respect each owner’s routine and preferences. If your dog is trained to follow certain rules (like only feed the dog when he sits, specific feeding times, giving food on slow feeders or walk duration), I make sure to follow that closely so your dog experiences consistency and feels safe.

I offer walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, and I adapt to each dog’s energy level and personality. I’m also patient with more nervous or shy dogs and take things at their pace to build trust.

During the week I have a structured schedule, but I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to coordinate depending on your needs.

I prefer caring for vaccinated pets to ensure a safe environment.
