I'm Rae, a web designer & developer originally from California. I've been living in Amsterdam since Spring of 2024. My work is totally remote so it lends itself well to pet sitting on the side!

In my free time, I like to read at cafes, knit, and go to the cinema. 

I've been pet sitting dogs & cats for the last decade, regularly housesitting for neighbors when they went on holiday. I grew up in a house with dogs and have a soft spot for large mixed-breeds, like my Mom's rescue, Boris, who is a Shepherd/Standard Poodle mix. I'm a very calm person, so animals tend to warm up to me quite quickly. 

Thanks to my work, my availability is pretty flexible. I'm happy to take on dog walking, house sitting, and or home visits. My apartment doesn't allow for pets, so this is my chance to get my fix :). 

Recently, I've house-sat for some friends to care for their cats in Amsterdam Zuid and Nieuw West respectively. So long as I can quickly bike over to your place to care for your pet, I'm happy to take it on.
