Hey! I'm JC, Dutch but lived in Cuba for 4 years and Spain for 8. I've owned 5 dogs in my life; 4 in Cuba and 1 in Spain. In Cuba two of our dogs also had puppies so for a little while we were also raising them until we found a sound family. I absolutely loved having the dogs! At the moment I live in Amsterdam with my fiancé, and while we would love to have a dog of our own, we're saving to get married at the moment. For that reason it would be great do be dog sitting on the side. I've had a number of different breeds, so I therefore know how to handle dogs from big to small.
At the moment I'm working from home so will be able to spend a lot of time and give lots of love and care! I'm able to provide three dog walks a day, and will able to supervise all day long. Next to the walks I will also put time apart to play with the dogs. I have no issue in administering medication when needed. Next to some trips I have planned, I'll be in Amsterdam so will have a wide range of availability. My fiancé would also love to take care and help.
Our apartment is a duplex, and provides a lot of space for the dogs. We have a separate bedroom where we can keep them, but also do not mind it sleeping in our room if that is where the preference goes out to. We have a rooftop terrace, but the dogs will be prohibited from going up there due to safety reasons. However we live 10 minutes walking from Westerpark so we can take the dogs there once a day for some nice walks.
