I’m Simone (26), an Amsterdam local studying at the University of Amsterdam. I’m only at uni about five hours a week, and classes are never longer than two hours. Uni is just a five-minute bike ride away, so I’m home most of the day. 😊

My partner Sam (25) is from England and is working on his PhD. He works from home most days and is usually only in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. This means your pet will almost always have one of us around. He grew up with a Labrador and cats, so caring for animals has always been part of his life. 🦮🐈⬛

We live in a cosy (37m²) studio in Amsterdam-East, right next to Park Frankendael, with plenty of green space nearby for walks. 🌲 There is also parking available next to the apartment. If allowed, we love going on longer walks, including trips to the Amsterdam Forest or past nearby cafés. Of course, we always follow your rules and only take pets to places where they are comfortable. 🐾 

We have experience pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family and/or our own pets growing up and through Pawshake! We're calm by nature, but we love getting playful and active with dogs during walks and playtime. we also really enjoy the quieter moments, sitting with a cat in my lap or hanging out with a dog on the couch (or near the couch). we treat every pet like they’re our own and understand how important it is to maintain their routines and give them all the attention they deserve. 🐶🐱💖
