Hi, my name is Lola-Sophia, I am 21 and originally I am from the U.K. I came to the Netherlands with my family when I was just 5 years old, so I have lived most of my life here. I understand Dutch reasonably well but my spoken Dutch is not fluent. I am working on it. I am a huge animal lover and grew up with dogs. My family have two dogs a German Shepherd and black Labrador cross called Black-Jack and a very lively Saarloos wolf dog puppy called Magnus. We are doing a training course with him which has been very interesting & given us lots to put into practice.

I would like to have a career working with animals and I am currently following an online Veterinary Assistant diploma Course. I have almost finished and I am taking the final exam shortly.

Alongside my course I am also pet sitting, as well as doing some babysitting for several families with children from a few months to ten years. My experience with pets has been quite varied. I have looked after hamsters, rats, fish, cats and dogs and a gekko. I have enjoyed it so much that I wanted to give pawshake a go. It seems like a great way to meet more animals and increase my experience. I have no preference from mornings, afternoons or evenings. I could walk half an hour or longer depending on the needs of the dogs. I am used to walking dogs that live near me, so this would include going to the Amsterdamse Bos as well as local parks and can stay with them if they need more company. I am able to stay at the owners home. I am very flexible so I can work with what the owner suggests.
